Similar to find objects in the 3d view using the find objects button. A process flow equivalent button to search for activities in a process flow will enable a modeler to easily find and modify an activity in a large process flow model.
If the functionality already exists, please let me know.

there is such a functionality: Click the "View Activities" button in the Process Flow Properties section of the Quick Properties sidebar. You'll see this GUI open:
Type the name of the activity you are looking for in the "Filter Activities" field and select the one you are looking for from the list of activities to the left, which dynamically adjust to what you are typing on top. Then hit the spyglass button to center the activity in the process flow view and select it.
