Trouble Tracking Multiple staytimes in Flexsim HC

I am simulating a hospital in flexsim healthcare 23.0.4 with 28 departments and we want to track departmental staytime, We have not been able to find a way to track and chart multiple staytimes from multiple departments. We think it has something to do with the fact that we are doing scheduled patient creation in the simulation, but we really don't know. Our question is, is there a way within flexsim healthcare to track and chart multiple different staytimes, (each of the 28 departments consist of anywhere from 3 to 20 patient beds in a location group).

Thank you!

By default, the Location Groups table tracks which groups a lcoation belongs to, but because a location might be part of more than one group, this is not done in a format that would allow to partition a chart by this information.

The attached model shows an example of thow this could be achieved. The Statistics Collector you find in the toolbox is a modified copy of the one behind the LocationStaytimeHistory table.

The only addition is the Group column, that checks which department the object belongs to. To do this, is assumes the group folder structure and naming you see below.

A calculated table can then use this information to partition the data by the group which can then be displayed in a dashboard chart.
