TrafficControl not resetting "numberactive"?

Hi all,

I have a traffic controlled area which should allow only one vessel at a time. screenshot 1 shows that the 'numberactive' variable is 1.00 when vessel_1 is inside the area. However, after it leaves the numberactive value is not set to 0 but remains 1.00 (screenshot 2).

This lead to the next vessel being 'blocked' (screenshot 3).

I built a small demo model containing only this setup connected to a source and sink. In that model I do not have this problem. Does anyone know why this would occur?

You need to post a model that demonstrates the issue if you want anyone to be able to figure out why that is happening.

I found the cause of this problem, it was my own mistake.

As part of a tasksequence I let a finished vessel go back to the networknode at the start of the Access channel, then destroy itself (see screenshot 4). This meant it never actually left the area, so numberactive would still be 1.00 .

Should I delete this thread or leave it for future reference?
