@cephas abbew I just looked at your model and it does exactly what you ask. Products are generated in source 1, send to queues 1,2 and 3 and from there to queue 4. So what is exactly the question?

@steven.hamoen Thank you very much

Please I wanted the source 1 to trigger order information on the items on queue 1,2 and 3 so that the dispatcher will communicate that to the forklift and operators to take item being ordered to the queue 4. thank you.

@cephas abbew Sorry but I still don't understand. You want source 1 to trigger order information. But it actually also creates the order and by creating the order you automatically trigger the rest of the process. So please explain even better what it is that you want?

Do you want to create the order items on the base of shipping schedule?

@cephas abbew Could please post your model with your first attempt of changing the source? Because the source should not continue to keep generating items. It sounds a bit overkill to create a complete process flow model to solve this simple issue.

And if you want to have a process flow solution (which I completely support because process flow is wonderful) could you at least make some effort and try your self first and then ask what didn't work?

6025-correct-class-talumis.fsm@cephas abbew Ok the problem was that all the racks also send on their products immediately to the queues so in no time the queue4 was full and everything just stopped. It was not that the source kept producing but all the other sources where also producing.

So I think I understand what you want now so I build a very small process flow to show you how to solve it. This one only looks at rack 24 and uses 1 transporter to bring the products to the queue. It is build in version 17.0.3 so please update your Flexsim if it isn't working

@cephas abbew Ok now it is clear. Double click source 1 and on the Source tab you find: Arrival Style. There you can select the option Arrival Schedule and below you will get a table. If you make it the correct size and if you add a column to your shipping_schedule table you can just select your table and copy paste it into the arrival schedule.

@steven.hamoen please can you help me out with the use of the process flow in generating the orders directly from the rack ? Because I can see the source keeps generating items. Thank you. Am so much grateful.
