Apparent Bug in Animate Bones Directly - Emergency Male Shape

Hi all,

In FlexSim 2020 Update 1, I tried to create a new animation on a operator by animating bones directly. I used the shape "male emergency operator" and, when trying to add new keyframe, the rigging collapsed as showed below:

As far as I've checked, it also happens with the male/female emergency/military 3d models. I guess it is 3d model file-related issue.

This appears to be a bug with the scale of where the bone dots are being drawn. I'll add a case to the dev list.

You can get the bone dots to draw correctly by adding an Animation Clip to your animation. When you animate the bones directly, it applies the bone transformations on top of whatever animation clip is being used.

So if you add an animation clip of animation 3 (stand), then you can adjust the bones from the standing position instead of the T-pose. When animating, this shape draws the bone dots in the right place:
