@Christopher J,

The FloWorks module is developed by a 3rd-party called Talumis in the Netherlands and requires separate licensing. It is not standard in FlexSim's software products. Please contact Talumis here or consult the User Manual for more information about FloWorks.

are there any models that are similar to that model? where are the built-in models that I can look at?

Just to clarify, are you asking for a model or a module? FlexSim simulations are models, and FloWorks is a module.

I'm afraid I don't know of any sample FloWorks models. That said, I'm sure you could request some from Talumis.

In terms of modules... There are not currently any existing FlexSim modules that replicate that which can be done with Talumis' FloWorks. FloWorks is a unique product, which is why it must be added on separately as a module to FlexSim.

Is there a particular process you're trying to simulate in FlexSim for which you would like to explore the use of Talumis? If so, maybe you could explain the process and we could point you in the right direction or give you some project hints.

@Christopher J,

I realize now what you mean. You're probably searching for the Fluid Library. Is that correct?

If that's the case, it should be in your Library tab on the left side of the default workspace. The Fluid Library objects are a standard part of FlexSim and require no additional license.

Thank you, my professor said this software might help with my senior design project for a refining process. Perhaps to help optimize the logistic process. Not sure how to handle that any insight is welcomed.

Hi @Christopher J,

The best starting place would be to read about the fluid library in the user manual, then try to start building a process. Create a *new* question (rather than replying here) to ask for help if you get stuck on anything in particular.
