I can´t take screenshots of a process flow

Hello.

I want to do a screenshot in high resolution of some process flow I have but I couldn´t do it.

I tried to do the same in the 3D model and it was all good with any problem.

I am trying to do it with "capture view" panel in the "quick properties" menu, but I don´t know if I need something more to achieve the results I want.

I am using a full license.

Thank you a lot in advance.

Hello @Oscar N, It works for me. Are you trying to do it via Quick Properties in the Process Flow window?

You have to click in your process flow background and then click on Capture View:

Yes, I tried to do it with that option. I could do it in the 3D window but not in one process flow.

Any image is created when I do that.

Even when I do that there, the view of the process flow goes grey and I can´t see the process flow another (I need to close the window and reopen it).

When you click "Capture View" is it asking you in a new pop-up window for a filename and location to save the .png file?

Yes, but when I click to save it, I go to the route and any file is created.

I had the problem even with a new model. I tried some different version of flexsim and in different computers.

In some computers I got the same problem and in some I could take the screenshots correctly.

@Oscar N,

Where it works on some computers, but not the one you want, it might be a graphics compatibility issue on that PC. You should check your graphics driver to be sure is is the latest (not from Windows Update, which are often quite old, but directly from graphics hardware vendors Nvidia, AMD, Intel, or from your computer manufacturer like Dell, Asus, HP, etc.).

See this and other graphics recommendations at our graphics compatibility article.

Maybe there is a problem with this, but I think I can´t update the version of the drivers, I have a bit old graphic hardware. I will check.

Thanks a lot for the reply.

Maybe you haven't got any memory left to compute the picture in your RAM.

I think I haven´t got any problem with this. I have 8GB RAM and I am only doing this. I have some GB free in the unit.

Thanks for the reply.

Did you update all drivers for the PC hardware - especially the graphics?

Does it work in a different FlexSim version on that PC? Have you tried uninstalling and reinstalling FlexSim? What about 20.0.9?
