Second conveyor w same roller skew angle moving packages in opposite direction

I am trying to model a "singulator" where packages are moved to one side using a roller skew angle. Those that are not far enough over fall down chutes and have to recirculate.

The first conveyor (the wide one on the right of the picture) has a skew angle of 5, and packages move gently toward the left side (bottom of picture) as expected. The next downstream conveyor has a 0 skew angle, and then the third conveyor (highlighted) also has a skew of 5, but the packages start moving back towards the top (right edge). There is no apparent difference between the conveyors, except that one is wider. I have tried using different skew angles, including negative ones, but the direction of translation is always to the right.

What is going on?

Here is the model: Skew_angle_wrong_direction.fsm

(There is a stop time set at 2.7 minutes which is just before the first packages reach this area.)

Does anybody know if this is a bug? I can work around it using a translate instead of the skew angle, but I would like to know if I am doing something wrong to cause this.

@Logan Gold I see you are following this question. Can you verify if this is a bug, or am I doing something wrong?

Thanks.
