Hello,

I wanted to ask if FlexSim offers slotting as well. What I mean is if I can give it dimensions of the product and it can show me the best way to store that product in the warehouse. Basically use the storage places in the racking and show the best way to store a particular sized pallet etc.

And also if it has a count tool to count all the parts that might be used in let's say the rack?

You can query the available slots, filtering and ordering by different parameters. For example to find the smallest slot that the pallet can fit in. Or the closest one or one with a matching label.

Which slot is "best" is something the user has to define.

Similarly you can query the stored items to get a count of stored objects across all racks or only a subset.
