How to assign resource to shift schedules in the experimenter?

I would like to use the experimenter tool to test different groups of schedules for resources. e.g. Group A Vs GroupB. Each group has multiple schedules and each schedule is unique for the week (hence there are multiple).

For example:

GroupA_ScheduleA1 - 2 Technicians (Tech 1 & 2)

GroupA_ScheduleA2 - 1 Technician (Tech 3)

GroupB_ScheduleB1 - 2 Technicians (Tech 1 & 2)

GroupB_ScheduleB2 - 2 Technicians (Tech 3 & 4)

I tried using the experimenter tool, by choosing "Shift schedule assignment" for Experiment variable. And then TechnicianGroup2 resource group for object. Action > assign shift schedule. Then in scenario 1 - entered file name of the schedule GroupA_ScheduleA1. and scenario 2 - GroupB_ScheduleB1.

I am not sure how to proceed further.

Thanks for your response. I am using FlexSim healthcare. The experimenter tool seems quite different from what you have. Attached a copy.

Please fill out the software version field when you submit a question. That will ensure you get the correct answers the first time and you won't have to explain that you're using a different software package.

Yes, you should use the Shift Schedule Assignment experiment variable. Is it not working for you? Make sure you put the name of each Shift Schedule in quotes.
