What are the characteristics for Oculus Rift for flexsim 17.1.2?

Hi everyone,

I am willing to buy oculus rift for my flexsim version 17.1.2, but I'm not sure about all the technical characteristics that the glasses and the software must had. Please give me a hand with that information.

Just compare and take the max from both ;-)

Thanks for your answer, but I wanted to know if is any special version of the oculus rift for flexsim 17.1.2? Or if any kind of oculus rift can be used with flexsim?

FlexSim works with the Oculus Rift, not with the Samsung Gear VR powered by Oculus.

FlexSim also works with the HTC Vive, but I recommend the Oculus Rift because of its asynchronous spacewarp.

Paul,

I would strongly recommend not to go with the minimum requirements in the links above: I myself purchased a MSI GS43VR notebook to run Oculus Rift VR and it works great, but I do notice when I play the FlexSim based Zombie Game (in Downloads section of your account under "FlexSim Models") that there is a little bit of stutter towards the end of the game, when the number of complex 3D objects increased a lot.

I am glad that I did not go for the minimum 1050Ti, although I have never experienced it in a direct comparison.
