How to create sliding shoe sorter in conveyor object?

Hi,

We are working on the conveyor customization; Flexsim has provided different types of the conveyor and sorting mechanism.

In warehouses, there is one sorter called shoe sorter, in Flexsim how to customize the shoe sorter.

Description about Shoe Sorter:

The conveyor is composed of a bed of uniform slats, ideal for conveying a variety of items. Each slat has a sliding “shoe” attached. Shoes are aligned to one side of the parcel. When a parcel reaches its assigned post sort lane, several shoes are electronically activated to slide in the direction of the intended divert, guiding the parcel to its destination. The precision with which the shoes are controlled allows them to gently push parcels toward a lane or chute in a fluid diagonal movement.

here is the link for sliding shoe sorter reference: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Szxgy0qSwlw

We need information that how to add this shoe sorter in Flexsim conveyor object.

Thanks in advance.

Hi,

Created the Sliding shoe sorter in the conveyor object by moving items (Shoe Sorter) positions on the conveyor using "Translate items" in DP. I have attached the model. sliding-shoe-sorter-1.fsm
