How do I not include locations in Process Utilization charts

I have the following Cumulative Patient Processing Utilization chart:

Built from the following widget:

How an I exclude ExamTableH2 and ExamTableH3 from the computations for the overall utilization in ExamTableAreaHuang - 4Tables scenario?

If you applied a Shift Schedule to ExamTableH2 and ExamTableH3 that put the two beds in an OffSchedule state the entire run, then the average utilization reported for the ExamTableAreaHuang would not include the two beds.

The only way to exclude the two beds from the graph altogether would be to create your own custom Data Collector and User-Defined Graph.

How would I compare the total bed utilization for 3 scenarios with 4, 5 and 6 beds respectively?

The quickest way would be to dump the raw data to Excel after the experiment and analyze the data there. However, I'd be happy to set up some custom Data Collectors in your model if you'd rather display the total bed utilization inside the model within a dashboard. It's a bit of work, but if this appeals to you, email me your model.

Unfortunately, the standard dashboards currently include the inactive locations in the average utilization for an area. I've been looking into this problem this morning and have found a way to exclude inactive locations from being displayed or used in average calculations within dashboards. I will make this change in the next minor release of the software (ie. v5.3.6 due out in a few weeks) for both inactive locations and inactive resources.
