HC The patient doesn't go downstream

hc01v53.fsmI created a simple medical procedure, but the patient did not go downstream after registration.

I don't know where the problem is, please help to solve it.

Hi @Shiny Xu,

Attached is a model in which the problem you talked about is solved. In order to make patients go to the waiting room when their destinations are busy, you have to change the entrance criteria of the waiting room as shown:

You will also see that if this change is made, the track becomes more simple. You only have to define the arrival activity to the registration area and the process in it.

But I'm still curious, why is that setting wrong in the model I uploaded.

The patient didnot go to the chair area.

In your original model, you were kicking off activities with both the Predecessor field of the activity itself AND with the Next Activity field of a previous activity. This double starting of an activity is what caused your problems. I removed the Predecessors of activities 20 and 30 in the attached model and it works now.
