How to set up travel paths

Hello,

I'm trying to get the operator circled i black to follow the black path and the operator circled in blue to follow the blue path. I connected all the stations shown and I used network nodes to make a path that follows the red path. The operator in black has no problem using the path to get to the source to take an item to the que and then move it to the processor. However, once it is processed, the operator in blue walks the way to the source, not following the path, then follows the path to get to the processor, then I get this error message. I just want the blue operator to pick it up from the processor and take it to the sink.

Thanks

hi @Christopher W, I guess the operator in blue does not follow the path when it walks to the source is due to the fact that this operator has it's red line (A key connection) connected to the Source network node. This implies that the operator before it gets onto the network it must always first travel and reach this network node, only from then on will it continue to walk on network nodes.

In regard to the cause of why the operator in blue is unable to walk to Sink1, there might be overlapped network nodes. That means, though it appears visibly that the whole network path is connected but it isn't. You may want to moved your network nodes so as to find if there are 'overlapped' network node'.

Hope this helps,

Without the model is is difficult to verify your connections.

Please check:

1) all of your pickup and dropoff points are connected to a network node. (They appear to be)

2) your operators are connected to an initial network node start position. (They don't appear to be)

3) follow the path that the operator is connected to and make sure that they can reach all of the destinations that the model will tell them to travel to. The model will yell at you if that is not the case. (Just like your error message)
