The Operator follows the path. If he reaches the network node connected to the rack, he goes over into OFFSET travel, which consists of load and unload tasks sofar. If you want to imitate a travel in the aisle, you must design it. You have to use offset travel task types.

Offset task types are

  • Pickoffset,
  • Placeoffset,
  • Travel to Location,
  • Travel relative or Travel to Location (option relative in process flow activity),
  • load,
  • unload.

If you have assigned a slot for the item before operators got to tne network node of the rack, you can get the storage slot location. The values of the slot location can you use to design the sequence of offset travel task.

Thank you for your answer @Jörg Vogel.

I found another way to do this by using "use navigator for offset travel" and I also placed the racks closer to the network node and now it works just fine. Thank you for your help anyway.
