@wang W2 I think the best you could do in this version of the software would be to go to the General tab for that rack, and change the 3D shape to Transparent Frame.

And what is then the problem to put a shape over the invisible rack structure, which meets your desires. You put this shape in another object, which you set a location to, that both the structure and the shape fit. You will design this rack shape on your own, in the animation creator in FlexSim or by code.

I have said something different. It isn’t done with some code. You build the complete frame by your code. It isn’t only one bar. This is a total new question in my opinion.

I prefer to build shapes in CAD programs and import them in FlexSim.

And all I did so far here, was a discussion and I didn’t give an answer, that I will elaborate now, because it is really some long lasting work. But yes, I can give you some ideas, please look for the keyword “mesh“ to build shapes by code here at this answers site and look into the command manual for additional commands. Good look for this task! Jörg

Hi @wang.w2, do you still need help with this? Honestly, the easiest way to accomplish this is to upgrade to the newest version of Flexsim. It has a custom rack visualization creator that could accomplish what you are looking for.
