Batch run for resources (multiple machine)

Hi,

I developed a workshop with 4 workstations that have multiple machines. One of the workstation is batch production with multiple machines. I used a "batch" to collect tokens based on workstation's (WS1) batch size.

My question is that while the lot tokens release (e.g. 3 tokens), how do I setup the "Acquire" or "Resource" that can run batch size (e.g. 3 tokens) in a machine at the same time.

Thank you in advance.

Best regards,

Wade

If the batch quantity is always the same for a given workstation, you could simply multiply the number of tools with the batch quantity when determining the available resource amount.

An important change, I presume, would be to make sure that all tokens of the batch have the same process times, which wouldn't be the case when they determine them individually based on a random distribution.

To do this, you can set the process times as labels before the tokens enter into the batch activity and use the label aggregation to overwrite the values for tokens 2 and 3 with the value of the first token.
