Merging of items on the conveyor

Hi Team,

Is it possible to merge the items coming from two separate mass flow conveyor on a single mass flow conveyor.

Attached is the model for your reference.Comveyor_Merger.fsm

This is already happening in your model. Your actual question is probably: Why does only "Flowunit1" appear once both conveyors feed into the merging conveyor?

Mass flow conveyors do not transport items. They visualize a flow density. Any items added to a mass flow conveyor become indistinguishable as they are reduced to a single density value.

Which shape is used for this seems to be updated whenever the density changes, which is why the shape of the conveyor whose flow reaches the merging point second is used.

Can we parallelly(at the same time) feed flowitems from two different mass flow conveyor on a single mass flow conveyor with same width.

As you can see in the attached model, that second conveyor is waiting for the first conveyor to feed all the flow items.Conveyor_Merger.fsm

A mass flow conveyor has a maximum flow rate that depends on its width and speed.

From version 23.1 onwards you can set a "Width Rule", so you are not bound by the physical width of the conveyor in the model.

This is not possible in the version you are using, so you'd have to increase the speed to be able to handle the full input of both upstream conveyors.
