How to setup double shift in process flow

Hello,

I am trying to set up the double (night) shift of my model, where the task will continue taking up by second shift's operators after the first shift end. I have created separate dispatchers for night shift operator and inspector and assigned them to RC shift 2.

However, I get stuck and would need help for the next steps. I used process flow to call out the labor resource for every cell. I noticed only 1 dispatcher can be assigned to "create task sequence" and in my model, day shift dispatcher is what it's currently assigned to. Can we assign multiple dispatchers to the task sequence? and will it check the simulation run clock to see what's the current shift--when it's night shift time it will call out the labor resource for night shift to work on the task?

What is the correct way to assign/call out different shift of labor resource using process flow? so we can make sure the task can continue after the first shift ends.

Please find my model here for reference: R1_TS_double shift.fsm

Hi Jeanette,

I am using the enterprise server license with license server address assigned to my work laptop. There's no individual account ties to it. We get automatically recognized by our company server. How can I provide the identification and subscription proof linking to my account? will screenshot of the server license and work email suffice enough?

Hello @AnneK,

I would put the operators for Day shift and night shift on the same dispatcher and have them A connected back to the dispatcher as well. This allows for when the operators are stopped they send their task sequence back to the dispatcher for another operator to finish.

See attached model for an example. Dispatcher Task Sequence Shift Change_1.fsm
