Is it possible to integrate the elevator HC module in Flexim 2018 beta ?

Hi,

We are doing a project with a short deadline.

The project is easily feasible with the People module of Flexim 2018beta with the processflow. There are different types of persons with different equipment’s and transports (wheelchair, beds etc.) However, this project contents a part with several different elevators with different capacities, a lot of floors and technical characteristics. Moreover, it needs a logical to get the different elevators. This part with elevator is well done in HC.

As of FlexSim 2019 Update 1 (19.1) there is now an elevator object in the People module that works like the one from HC.

The AGV module has an Elevator template. It should work with any task executer, so maybe that can help you?

There is not a pre-built elevator object in the People module, although that is something we are looking at. I agree with @Mischa Spelt, that a TE or FR flow is the way to go, and definitely look at the AGV Elevator Template. However, you will probably need to make a custom one that meets your needs.
