Hi, I'm programming a conveyor in my simulation. I added two decision points to limit the amount of parts in between those points. When I set it to 6parts I'm getting eight. One extra between those points and a second one at the beginning of the first decision point. How do I remove both extras?
Solved! Go to Solution.
Use Photoeyes instead! A decision point is likely more an internal logic element. A photoeye is the technical component, that you find in a real conveyor.
Alternatively you put a conveyor section in your system. You control in a photoeye the amount of items on this section by evaluating the statistic.

Thanks @Jörg Vogel, I used the photoeyes and the number of parts were reduced by one. There's still one part at the entrance of the conveyor but at the same time is not inside the conveyor. Since it has to enter the conveyot for the photoeye to kick in it stays floating just outside
Will do @Jörg Vogel, by the end of the day, Thanks!
