Hi guys, we are actually doing a Basic Training with FlexSim GP in Germany. There are some hints of (potential) users that seems to be interessting for you. I´m not sure if this is the right place, or if I should open one threat for every question!? We also will do some Basic Trainings within the next weeks, so maybe you at least can give me a Feedback if I can go on doing it this way. Here is our Summary from actual Training class:
- Tutorials are hard to understand for beginners
- if you Switch between objects with the arrows down in the GUI of an object, the yellow Frame is not switching, so it is hard to see what object you are working on
- Visual tool as Text is hard to click
- the wording in GUI`s and in tree/variables is not the same (e.g. Process Time vs. cycletime)
- is it possible to get an Information about the "author" of a model (first guy who built it)?
- Setting names for Objects shown in Dashboards (objects in a Container show very Long names)
- the pickoptions for (return) values in case pickoptions are reduced to 3!?
- the arrows to set (Position, Rotation, Size) of objects are working different in Quickproperties and GUI´s General tab. Is it possible to give the precision of this as Setting in "Global Preferences"?
- search function for "adding Userlibraries" in Global Preferences (or giving an overview what Libraries are available in Folder "libraries")!?
