We have not tested connecting directly to an IBM DB2 database, but the SQLAPI++ library used by the Database Connector tool has support for DB2.
You can try modifying the connection settings in the tree. Although it doesn't appear in the GUI dropdown, you can set the dbType value to DB2:
The DB2 connection may rely on additional dependency dlls, such as db2cli.dll. You may need to install drivers from IBM and ensure that the flexsim.exe application can access those dlls.

If using the DB2 connection type directly doesn't work, you can configure the Database Connector to use ODBC, and then configure an ODBC connection to your DB2 database.
