Sure, there is, it is called AGV.
Yes, I do and no, I don’t. There are some tutorials about AGV you can do. Then I suggest you build a model for testing some of your expected behaviors. And if it comes to a situation, where you can’t find a suitable approach, you come back here and describe in a new question what it is that is bothering you. If it is, that the tutorial describes a floor driven vehicle, then it is only a visual matter to set a different location of the AGV in relation to the floor. If you need a monorail then you import it from another program, which can design this shape. If you expect that I help you without knowing what you want to do with your monorail, then my answers is: I am sorry, I can’t.
