How to connect 2 flexsim models in real time.

Hello everyone!

I am trying to create a digital twin in my project with flexsim. But because of limited time and cost, I still cannot prepare yet my physical system. However, I try to use another idea. I will create 2 similar models, and when the first model runs, the data from the first model will be sent to the second model in real-time. Can we do that with flexsim? and How is the concept?

Thanks!

I would recommend OPC-UA in FlexSim 21.0.4 or 21.1, where you can have one FlexSim process interacting with a variable as read-only (control) and another as write-only (sensor), while the counterpart FlexSim process can do the reverse. This concept works well for emulation/control applications. This is not the same as one model mirroring the other in real time (for which perhaps there are a limited number of applications).
