If a list is renamed the change is also set in Processflow Lists but not in Fixed Resources
Triggers have never been just a pointer (which would update automatically) since that picklist option is trying to do many more things than just return an object - as depicted in the rest of the options:
It would mean the picklist template would need an underlying data structure that included pointers, or the renaming would need to search for places it was used and update those cases. Perhaps there a case for a structure beneath it, or for creating a singular pull activity behind the scenes that is only ever invoked from this trigger.
