My notifications have stopped working

I disabled my notifications for a few months while I was working on a non-simulation project, then re-activated them when I returned a few months ago, but I am getting nothing.

I have tried reactivating again and making changes to my choices and updating, but I am still receiving nothing.

Also, my colleagues sometimes get email announcements of new version releases etc. How do I get on that mailing list too?

@Markus Cueva can get you on the announcement emails.

I'll look into the AnswerHub notifications emails to see what we can find out.

Thanks @Ben Wilson . I do get a notification when somebody tags me in a comment, and also when I have accepted an answer, but none of the general weekly digests are coming through.

Hi @Claire Krupp , a quick update. I've double checked our community settings and email server settings. Everything seems to be in order. We'll need to reach out to our community host, AnswerHub, to get some support. I'll be in touch as I hear back from them.

Hi @Claire Krupp ,

Sorry for the delay. To work with our community provider to figure out the issue we're trying to get access to our email system's logs, but we have to work with a different provider for that and the logs we're looking for aren't accessible by default. Anyway, still a work in progress.

However, we received word from AnswerHub, the creator of this community platform, that they're soon launching a new on-site notification feature:

You'll be able to configure alerts in the same interface where you currently configure email alerts. You'll be able to toggle these on-site notifications to events you're interested in knowing about, and you'll get a red dot on a bell icon, shown above.

This feature should roll out to our community site in the next couple of weeks.

Hopefully this will help bridge the gap until we sort out the email notifications.
