Encountered problems with video recording in RTX mode

I encountered another problem: when using RTX mode for video recording, the whole process cannot be recorded in RTX mode, but about half of the recording will return to non-RTX mode. Is there a solution to this problem?

Hi @CSN , please start with making sure your graphics drivers are on the latest version.

@Phil BoBo may have some additional suggestions specifically related to RTX settings.

@Ben Wilson

Hi Ben,we always make sure that the drivers for the graphics cards are up to date. Then we recorded the test on several computers, and all of them failed in about 9 to 13 seconds.

Are there any places that need to be set that we haven't noticed?

Does the model run properly for the full length of the video in RTX Mode when not using the Video Recorder? This sounds like maybe something threw an exception at that point in the model and it switched out of RTX Mode in order to prevent FlexSim from crashing. And then the video recorder continued recording the non-RTX Mode. Usually RTX Mode exceptions happen when you run out of graphics memory.

I'll add a case to the dev list to see if something is using more GPU memory than it should when using the video recorder with RTX Mode.

In the meantime, you might need to stitch together smaller video segments or try using a 3rd party video capture software to record the view in RTX Mode.

Thank you for your answer, what I use now is video stitching, but this will be time-consuming, and the third-party software cannot achieve the recording effect that comes with the software when recording. Looking forward to your case test results
