Thank you very much! But this question is not a homework assignment. I cannot find any information about it with google or any textbook including the one of Dr. Allen Greenwood. In some one's course PPT, it just mentions that Arena applies process interaction method with no more information. Maybe there are gaps between simulation theories and applications. The textbook tells us process interaction method includes FES and CES. If Flexsim applies this method, there is no any context about FES and CES in the handbook.

Can you please explain a little more explicitly? Where I can find the related contexts? Handbook or any textbook? The handbook in 2017 version describes "Order of Events" in a Fixed Resource object. But the process interaction method also contains events scheduling which just has been hiden.
