Model parameter table

Is the model parameters table use to represent a number, and this could be used repeatedly for convenience. For example, I would like to use a parameter to record the processing time, use this way could work. The parameter table could also be used in the Experimenter for looking for the optimal parameter, so it has lower bound and upper bound filed. But if I only would like to set process time for convenience. Is the the following to set the lower bound and upper bound into same value a correct way to use this tool?

As long as you setup a constant value you should try a different Type.

@Joerg Vogel May I ask which type I should use. After going through all Parameter Value Types description, I think maybe I should use discrete type. But still not sure if this tool is correctly been used in order to set process time only one time.

From Parameter Type Manual

“Expression

The Expression type can be set to any valid FlexScript expression. This type is well suited for distributions, such as a customer arrival rate, or a processing time.”
