I think you're saying that you've successfully installed your license server and everything in its logs indicates it is operating properly? You've opened the ports in your firewall and the license server is ready to communicate with client FlexSim installations?
Then on your client PC you've installed FlexSim and...
If all of that is true, then you should probably double check that everything is configured correctly on the license server, and that connectivity can be achieved between your client PC and license server across both the lmgrd and vendor daemon ports. The "application not responding" symptom you indicate sounds like the software is waiting for a response from your license server and locks up while it waits. This may indicate a connectivity issue.

With any follow-up comments or questions, it may be best to start a brand new question, toggled as PRIVATE. We may need to discuss your actual license activation code or server information, and it is best not to share your licensing specifics in a public question like this one.
