Multiple Users Update Model

Hello, I would like to check if there is a way that multiple users can update on a model? I am working on a model along with my team and it is hard to collaborate on the same model, if one makes an update, we have to wait till he finishes his updates so we can work on that model. Is there a way to migrate and connect our works together? I know we can copy paste process flows but the connections, references, and everything all still need to be set up again. Thank you!

You can save a FlexSim model/library as multiple xml files using the .ffm format and use a version control system to manage and merge the changes. Some consideration needs to be taken into the split/partitioning of the model into seperate files, but one you have agreed an organisational structure and a set of interfaces the basic principle will work.

You might also consider making the .ffm file dynamically generated based on the content of the model.

@Lubna T I suspect you are already using some kind of versioning system like mercurial or GIT? Then you can save FlexSim models as XML file, which is text based and you can at least track changes and I expect that some merges might also work. I would also suggest using distribute files to make this process easier. You can read about it here
