AGV collision with each other and Rack

Hi Support,

I tried to build a model wherein you can see the AGV picking the items from the rack and delivering it to the required location. As I don't want my AGV's to collide with each other and also to avoid the collision with the rack.

For making it happen I have tried the following ways-

1. I have added A star network and added AGV's and Rack to it. But its not working.

2. Tried with the Node spacing. But couldn't resolve the problem.

3. Added preferred path for the AGV's to travel, but still colliding.

4. Tried adding barriers and divider, still the AGV's are colliding with the rack.

Let me know, is there any other way to avoid the collision.

Any help would be appreciated.

Hey anonymous user, here are some Answers posts that may help you find a solution:

Make a Node Network
Increase Node Spacing in AStar

Josh explains here that collisions are handled through node allocation. Each Task Executer takes up 1 node; hence the overlapping. You can increase the Node Spacing in the model to increase the distance between nodes, which may help.

This is using 2m X and Y node spacing rather than the default 1m.
