Trial version cannot set time to minutes

Hi:

It seems to me that trial version of flexsim cannot run by setting the time to minutes. When I set the time to minutes. operators.jpg

After that I open the 3D model and build the objects. Then the program halts after I connect them with connect-A operations.3d-objects.jpg

Can I fix it?

I am unable to reproduce this in 22.0.13. Please try the latest version and let us know if it still happens.

Since the addition of the datetime format and units on a lot of the guis there is little reason to change from seconds and metres - and for model compatibility you could say it's better to stick with the default units.

@Jyhjeng D2 , I attach a model build in 22.0.1.Like @Jason Lightfoot, I cannot reproduce this problem even in the same version you use. model_22_0_1_minutes.fsm

Which connection method do you use? holding an "a" keyboard key down and drag a connection, or do you use an icon tool for connecting objects?a-connect-20-0-1.jpg

Hi:

Thank you for replying to my question. The file you shared with me works. However, I used two notebooks and got the same result. The Flexsim did not allow me to proceed after I set the time unit from seconds to minutes. The whole system halted and could not move on. It happened even though I used the newest version. See the video below. I don't know why? Could you fix it?

I have one more thing to say. Interestingly, I can use the press and hold down the A key when the time unit is seconds to make the connection. However, when I changed it to minutes, this function wouldn't work.

@Jyhjeng D2, There seems to be something different in your system and mine. I would guess it could be a problem with a localization of the system or another running program interferes with FlexSim. Maybe @Phil BoBo can have a look at this problem. It seems to me you are preparing a course to introduce FlexSim in a university. Then this problem must be solved. Good luck! Joerg.

You may be able to resolve this by ensuring your computer has all the latest Windows Updates.

You may be able to work around it by enabling "Use previous version of Microsoft IME" in your Windows Settings.

Hi Phil:

Thank you for your first suggestion. It works. The problem is with the IME setting. If I switched to the old IME setting, the issue of changing the time units from seconds to minutes was solved. Here below is my new Chinese language setting.
