I have 5 zones and my tokens have a label that can be 1 through 8.
I want to see a Content per hour by Type on the dashboard for each zone.
Content dashboard element wont capture a zone. And a Zone Statistics element will only show total content per hour, not a line for each type, even when I create 8 subsets. There's only an option for viewing one subset at a time.

It is not quite clear to me what exactly you mean by "Content per hour". Does this refer to output per hour, average content by hour or a snapshot of the current content taken once per hour (content over time)?
For "output per hour" you can use the standard chart and set the object to be the Exit Zone activities, rather than the zone itself.
The attached model contains an example of how to get a snapshot of the current partition content in a regular interval.
