DWG slightly scrambled after import?

Hi,

has anybody seen this behavior before: The DWG shows right in DWG TrueView

But the lines and text seems scrambled after importing to FlexSim as a background

Look s the same in the new beta 23.2.0. Seems to me like a drawing problem rather than a FlexSim problem. Client does not use DWG as a background a lot, but this was the first time of the few, he saw this. It's a client's model but I was able to replicate that on my machine. Any ideas? DWG cannot be shared with public.

This could be a precision issue where the drawing's lines are too far away from the origin/centre. The step to remedy this is mentioned in the documentation on preparing drawings for import.

Thanks Jason,

It is very far from the origin...I didn´t notice because FlexSim was kind enough on import to adjust for that. I will have my client check for that and update this post, once he did.
