Can anyone help with the creation of a process flow chart?

Flexsim Edit from Example.fsm

I would like to create a process flow chart to where I receive supplies in the form of boxes within my floor storage flow items and have my operators place those supplies in my queues to build a batch of supplies and once complete, I would like to use my forklift to move those complete batches to an available queue labeled for the completed sequence racks. How would the process flowchart look, or could anyone help me at least get started in the right direction?

Hi @ Brandon Hicks,

Have you taken a look at our process flow tutorials? https://docs.flexsim.com/en/23.1/Tutorials/ProcessFlow/Tutorial1UsingSharedAssets/UsingSharedAssetsOverview/UsingSharedAssetsOverview.html

Going through these will help you get a good feel for process flow development. Tutorial 2 is on task sequences, and that may be particularly helpful to you.

Happy to help with any additional or follow-up questions.

I've taken at look at those documents, but I was wondering how to implement the flow I mentioned on a larger scale with different flow items.

Hey @ Brandon Hicks, your model currently doesn't have anything happening besides the 3D objects. I would try to implement the process flow first and then ask specific questions.

To get started in PF you could have a schedule source that creates the items and then have your operators as resources that you acquire and then release. Before you have a release have a task sequence of what you want the operators to do. Then use the batch activity to batch it and then acquire a forklift and execute a task sequence.

You could also look at some of these sample models (or other sample models on this website):

https://answers.flexsim.com/articles/82240/modeles-de-demonstration-flexsim-2020.html

They do some things that you could work on replicating in your own model. They have english translations underneath!
