Parameters of "Daily Rates, Custom Weekly Repeat"

Hello,

I'm trying to do some adjustment of the output of source recently. But I encountered some problems concerning to the parameter. What I try to use now is the Inter-Arrival Time-> Periodic Rate-> daily rates, custom weekly repeat. I am wondering for the default setting of the parameter, what does the 100 mean.

If I set the parmeter as 100 with normal distribution. Does it mean that it will randomly produced 100 items in 24 hours with the distribution of the one I set?

It mentioned that he didn't set any parameter on Tuesday. But there are things to deliver. So I am wondering if it is producing the exact number i set for the day. Thank you for your help!

The numbers determine the mean that will be used in the statistical distributions. On average, that many items will be created on that day. The lower the number, the higher the relative deviation from the target quantity will be.
