About double-byte space error

Hi,

An error occurs when double-byte spaces exist in FlexScript. Due to the space character, it is not displayed visually and it takes time to identify the cause, so users have requested to be notified with an error that a double-byte space exists. Could you please consider this request?

Hey @Ryusuke T, do you have replication steps or a model you could attach that displays this behavior? Thank you.

Hey @Ryusuke T, I've emailed the developers. It looks like the invalid character in the model is called an ideographic space. We'll see what the developers can do about this since it is harder to identify the invalid character since it is a whitespace character.

@Logan Gold ,

Thank you for your reply.

By the way, double-byte characters will cause an error, not just spaces.

Please let me know if you need this information as well.

Do you mean there are other non-visible characters that will give an error when used as spaces (and so are also difficult to find), or do you mean they error when used in valid flexscript expressions?

The only character that is difficult to find is the space character. However, full-width numbers are difficult to distinguish and may be overlooked.

As you may know, using double-byte characters in Flex scripts causes errors.
