Converting Siemens Plant Simulation project to FlexSim

Hi,

I have been asked to explore what would be re-usable in converting a Siemens Plant Simulation project to run in FlexSim.

My initial response has been that I am not sure anything from the model file itself will be, but I wanted to ask if anyone has any experience in doing this?

Thanks

The 'best' approach is probably going to be to export the model definition to a database and construct from that. Any methods you have in the model would need translating to FlexScript. You may be able to map the classes and hierachy to FlexSim Templates and visual tools. Not everything will map to a counterpart object in FlexSim.
