Denoiser installation in FS2023.0.11

Hi,

I failed to download the denoiser as below.

1698195257223.png

It seems like related to the following question: https://answers.flexsim.com/questions/133170/denoiser-installation-in-fs2023.html

(In my environment, the backslash becomes the yen sign.)

Could you check it out?

I downloaded it manually from the link below and the RTX mode is working, but the automatic installation is not working like this.

Thanks in advance.

Hi @Shinya O ,

Thank you for bringing this to our attention. We recently changed the location of our hosted files and neglected to update the in-software denoiser links.

We've done so now, so you should find that the file successfully downloads via the in-software button.

Thank you for the update. After checking the RTX mode checkbox, the download will begin and complete. However, the Denoiser is still not found as below.

It seems that the installation has faied.

Hi @Shinya O,

That behavior looks exactly like the video that @Ryusuke T shared in his question in 2022.

It appears there is no resolution for that problem. @Phil BoBo in his answer suggested just using the web version of the download.

Perhaps this problem specifically effects our Japanese friends because of that issue you mentioned in your question above where backslashes are translated to the Yen symbol, and it breaks the path or otherwise makes it so that the file can't be found where the software expects.

It's certainly a similar phenomenon. Is it possible to change the directory where Denoiser is downloaded? This may be caused by my path containing Japanese characters.

Looks like this is still an ongoing issue. In app download fails, and manual download fails too. THe manual download abrupts stops when there is just 2MB left to download. The browser says "network error". I tried multiple times and the same issue repeats.

Hey @Asan, you can always find the Denoiser download on the Downloads page of the website by clicking on Links. If that is the manual download you are referring to, where the download fails, you may need to try a different web browser or, if possible, try a different network.

Hello @Logan Gold

I tried three browsers (Edge, crome, Arc) and two different networks. The file seems like downloading until the last second when i used Edge and Arc, but stops saying "network error" at the end

Crome downloaded all 244 MB but stopped at the end and mentioned "file wasn't available on site".

I even tried to download directly from the application and used two different versions (Flexsim 2023, Flexsim 2024 update 2) with no luck.
