Facing hang issue frequently while running model in 3D?

Hi Team,

Recently, I have upgraded my system RAM from 32 GB to 64 GB to support FlexSim model but still I am facing hang issue while running period in 3D after simulation run of around 10 days.

Here is the snapshot of system utilization:

What else can be tried to make it better?

Thank you!

Looks like a modelling issue then - can you upload your mod here? Make the post private if needed. Does it happen at the same time always? Are the replications repeatable?

@Jason Lightfoot

Yes, it is repeatable and happens every time.

Normally, I close 3D view to run it smoothly but if I am trying to check it in 3D after 10 days of run and I open the 3D window, it takes little time to respond or it hangs.

I think I need to get the permission to share the model.

Would you like me to try something by the time? Is it due to the processor since it is reaching at 100% too sometime?

Thank you!

So is the screenshot not related to when the model locks? If not try to take a snapshot of that.

You have 16 vCores, so a single FlexSim thread should max out at around 6.25% CPU usage if you have hyperthreading enabled (12.5% if not).

If it happens at the same event time every time then try to run slowly to that time and eventually identify the exact event when it happens - use the event list to see what's coming up - I sometime video the whole screen so that I can look at the event list closer to the lockup. If you can identify the event then you can step through the event time and inspect the objects /processes involved to see if you can spot an issue. Also look for any error messages in the system console by ensuring you have that open at all times.
