Complex Manufacturing Example

Hello,

I have been working on a repair type shop example in FlexSim. Does anyone have a complex manufacturing example/download that I can look at to see where I am having issues?

Currently there is no batching, but a item will need to go through the same processor multiple times for different processing times. Also I have been trying to work the 3D model at the same time as building a process flow to match the 3D model.

I really need a complex example that has the 3D model and the process flow with no splits, joins or batching.

If you have any questions, please let me know.

Thank you,

Shadow Holcomb

Hello @Shadow,

I created a small sample model that shows how you can use a label and global table to set the variable process time based on the part of the cycle the item is at.

Process Time based on items cycle.fsm

In terms of a detailed demo model, you could reach out to Parker Standing.

Hello,

Yes, this was very helpful in seeing how to use a label and global table to set the variable process times. I will have to take the time to create the variable table because I already hard coded all my processes times that are normal distributions.

Thank you so much for you help,
