asrs moving error

asrs error.fsm

If you set the on resource available - home position, the slider goes back and forth unnecessarily like in the video. Why is it moving like this?

I hope there's no unnecessary movement. And ASRS wants to wait in the home position, and if the item arrives or is waiting, receive it and move it right away without any delay.

The home position is offset to the side of the ASRS' track. As such, when ordered to move to that location, it extends the slide to reach it. The ASRS is build such that it retracts its slide before ending any movement task. Since it is now no longer at the home location, it restarts the movement and so on...

To fix this use a location (possibly better defined through coordinates in the "Travel to X, Y, Z Location" option) along the track so there is no offset.

Similarly, the ASRS will always move back to the "Initial Lift Height". So I'd suggest you set this according to the pickup height as well.
