FlexSim crashing/not responding most often happens du to an infinite loop. Stop the model hust before it stops, then step through one event at a time and look for such a loop.
Having the event list open can help (under "Debug").

You can run through this list to try and debug the crashing.
Another possibility is your graphics driver needs to be updated. Please check out the third bullet point
