Animation of an operator opening a door

I want to place the door shown in the image, and have the operator open it and then close it again when instructed. How can I create this animation?

I you haven't done so already, I would suggest you start by reading through the documentation on creating animations.

https://docs.flexsim.com/en/23.2/Using3DObjects/CreatingCustomObjectsAnimations/CreatingCustomAnimations/CreatingCustomAnimations.html

In this case I would probably try to create separate animations: One of the door opening and closing and corresponding bone animations for the operator that matches their hand position to the door knob positions during the door's animation.

For this to work, the door and its frame need to be separate meshes so they can be move independently from each other.
