Even that I downloaded the conveyor module several times; it doesn't appear on my library. Help please!

Julien,

this doesn't show a conveyor module at all. Also AGV and AStar are not listed.

Please try this first:

- Go to "Help/Online Content"

- Log in with your FlexSim User Account data

- Change to the "Modules" section

- Download and install the modules from there. Should be AGV 1.1.12, COnveyor 1.0.14 and AStar 1.1.2

If this doesn't work, go to your Control Panel and uninstall FlexSim 7.7.4 completely. Restart your computer and install again with choosing all modules you want installed from within the installer.

Wanted to pull this out of Ralf's comment, because this answer will work for any version of FlexSim that uses modules:

  1. Completely uninstall FlexSim.
  2. Download a new copy of the full installer from within your FlexSim Account.
  3. Install FlexSim. For some older versions of FlexSim, you can choose which modules to install. Check all the boxes to install all modules. For FlexSim 2016 and on, all first-party modules are installed by default.

@Julian Valdes, in FlexSim 2016 the Conveyor module is installed by default. You can choose which modules you want to see in the library grid under File/Global Preferences/Libraries.

This is to allow the user to de-clutter the library grid from modules he thinks he might not use anyhow. You can always revert your decision though.

Thanks for your quick reply; I think I got a different issue because I'm getting this error: module dependency error: error found, conveyor : not installed

This model is dependent on modules that are not installed.

Can you post your FlexSim version (to be found at "Help/About FlexSim") and all your module versions installed (to be found at the top right corner of the start screen)? Module versions are built against specific FlexSim versions, so a module works with the matching FlexSim version only.

For FlexSim 2016, all modules are installed together with FlexSim automatically...maybe you can try a clean installation with a complete uninstall from the control panel before.
