Dashboard with labels and trigger

I have a model, and now i need to track horizontal and vertical distances and time of transporter and the quantities and itemtype that enter in the queue. The default parameters of dashboard are too general so i think i need to do this by variables and trigger. Someone could help me? I dont know much about dashboard.

Kevin,

I'm thinking that you would be better off to keep track of your totals in labels (on each rack?). Then you could use something like the Data>Increment Value option in the OnEntry trigger to increment (decrement) the value of the labels. Would something like that work for you?
