Conveyor cross-transfer Lift Table

I have a need to model a lift table on a conveyor cross-transfer. The table lifts the job off the conveyor if the downstream operation is not clear and will remain in the up position until clear. When downstream process is clear, table will lower and then conveyored to next process.

If the downstream process is clear when arriving, the job continues downstream (not lifting).

@Brian Barr, I don't know what you mean with a lift table. Is it similar to this post (tilting conveyor).

It is a matter of the visualization. If you place two straight conveyors in a rectangular fashion together then you got a small square at the connected edge. It is the Transfer. Open its properties and edit the Transfer Type over the button ... .

The Pop-Up Distance changes the height of the item, if it is entering the Transfer.

If you need an object that enhance the visual look you can place a basic fixed resource BasicFR under the cross section. You control its location by photo eyes in this area like you would do it in reality.

The diverting of the item flow is standard in this crossing. It is described well in the manual of the module and its tutorials. It depends on the connecting of Decision Points in front of the crossing and after it.

If you need to block the conveyor you can use photo eyes, too.

A classic workaround is to place a processor in the crossing. Adjust its size and use the Send To function to divert the items. If you need the lift you can change the location of the processor. If you need the animation, then you can take a look into the kinematics or the animation manual sections.
